Bill is from the Rockford Illinois area, born and raised. Been playing guitar in Rock Bands for longer than he cares to admit.  He decided to put together a band and felt he would surpass all the rest and had to look no further than his old friends. And he states that they just happened to be the most talented musicians he  has ever played with.  The Band now known as Shifty Shafer.
